Risk-Reduction Aid by County

The 21 hazard-mitigation grants approved by FEMA through early June as a result of Disaster 4117 will be spent in 14 counties. All but four counties are outside the declared disaster area. The program is designed to reduce long-term risk to people and property.

The grants total $4,704,008, of which $3,528,006 is federal money. The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management receives $409,702, bringing the federal share to $3,937,708.
